Donations and Volunteers

We know many people are looking for ways to help during this crisis. Thank you!

Donations of New PPE

As of June 19, 2020, we are no longer accepting donations of new personal protective equipment (PPE). Thank you to everyone who has donated over the past few months. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to distribute 471,500 items of PPE (and counting!) to health care professionals, first responders and others who need it. If the demand for donations changes, we will update this page.

Essential Needs Hubs

In response to COVID-19, the Washington County EOC has assisted cities throughout the county in developing Essential Needs Hubs to coordinate efforts to support residents during this time and throughout the recovery period. The hubs will coordinate volunteers, accept donations, and share resources with local giving organizations as needed. These local hubs have been established to provide Washington County residents, particularly vulnerable populations and homebound individuals or families, with a simple and seamless process to obtain food, face coverings and other essential needs.

Please click on your city for more information on their Essential Needs Hub:

*Please note, the City of Beaverton is partnering with Village Church in a Regional Food Donation Center that will be providing food and supplies for Meals on Wheels and other non-profit agencies serving residents in and around Beaverton. The center is only supplying existing food programs in the Beaverton area (including portions of unincorporated Washington County) and will not be distributing food boxes directly to individuals or families.
