Evergreen Road (25th to 253rd)

NW Evergreen Road, between 25th Avenue and 253rd Avenue, was a narrow two-lane roadway with intermittent bike lanes and no sidewalks. Over 19,000 vehicles consisting of automobiles and major freight travel this road daily.

This project widened Evergreen to five lanes and provided sidewalks, buffered bike lanes and street lights. This widening work will facilitate the flow of traffic while reducing conflicts between bicycles, pedestrians and motor vehicles.

In addition, this project supports future industrial development and is on the Regional Transportation Plan, Washington County Transportation Plan and the Hillsboro Transportation Plan.

This $6.5 million project was funded through the County's Traffic Impact Fee (TIF) program.
