Glencoe Road Bridge Replacement

This project replaced the existing bridge on Glencoe Road over McKay Creek with a new longer single span bridge structure. The previous bridge was functionally obsolete and prone to flooding.

The new single span structure is approximately 40 feet wide, 115 feet long and ten feet higher in elevation. Being a single span structure that is higher in elevation, this helps restore natural stream flow conditions and prevents the new bridge from flooding. Retaining walls were installed to preserve and reduce impacts to wetlands and sensitive areas.
