Main Street/Banks Road/Cedar Canyon Road Intersection
Project Information
The City of Banks Transportation System Plan identified traffic deficiencies at the intersection of Main Street, Banks Road and Cedar Canyon Road and a need for increased capacity in anticipation of future development and growth in east Banks.
The project team will evaluate two design alternatives: a signalized intersection and a roundabout. Impacts to commercial and residential properties will be evaluated. Impacts to wetlands located on the east side of Highway 47 (Main Street) will be avoided, if possible.
Funding Information
This $5 million project is funded through the County's Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP 3e).
